Bokkos: JNI condemn killings, urge for peace

 Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) Plateau State council, has said that it is condemnable in totality the resurgence of violence in Bokkos, Mangu and Barkin ladi LGAs in the state.

The condemnation was made Tuesday, by the JNI State secretary, Dr Salim Musa, in Jos.

"It is unfortunate that this cycle of violence is resurfacing after many spirited efforts by all relevant stakeholders including the government," it said.

The JNI said it extend their condolences to the families of the victims, people of the affected LGA's, and the state. We pray for the speedy recovery of the injured victims.

"We call on the communities to take the lead in nurturing and sustaining their peace. An enforced peace is no peace at all," it said.

The JNI said the security agencies seemed to be overwhelmed by the skirmishes in the communities.


"They need the support of everyone to succeed and bring the perpetrators to justice. It is a collective responsibility for all to contribute towards sustainable peace," it said. 


The Islamic group called on the government to immediately swing into action by providing relief materials to all affected communities in order to ameliorate their suffering.


It prayed Allah SWT in his infinite mercy, to bring succor, peace in our communities, and restore the lost of humanity, amongst people.

Kidney theft: Courts grant bail to, Noah Kekere, Dr Philip Dachung, Yusuf Abduallahi

  By Fatima Muhammad  Two different Plateau State High Courts of justice, have on Tuesday, granted bail to the suspected kidney harvester, Noah Kekere and two of his accomplices, Dr. Philip Dachung and Yusuf Abduallahi. Mr Noah Kekere and Yusuf Abduallahi, were first granted bail at High Court 11 presided over by Justice Nankwat D. Shashe'te, pending determination of the substantive suit, accusing the duo of criminal conspiracy to cause havoc, on Mr. Ibrahim Ajibade by removing his left kidney at Murna Clinic and Maternity, Jos,  there by attempting culpable homicide on the 75-year old man. Also in another separate, suit at court 9, Noah Kekere, Doctor Philip Dachung and Yusuf Abduallahi, remanded at the Jos Correctional Center, by Justice DG Fombing,  over an alleged kidney theft, criminal conspiracy and human organs trafficking of Mrs. Kehinde Kamaru, were granted bail, having their counsel Barr. Screening of Constables: Hon. Adamu Aliyu, protests rejection of his Hausa, Fulani applicants

Adamu Aliyu, has protested against non acceptance of Hausa and Fulani, tribal extractions, of Jos North Local Government Area, in the ongoing police recruitment exercise, just as he appealed to the Police Service Commission, to intervene. Hon. Aliyu made the protest at the State headquarters of Nigeria Police Force, where talked with the Police Pubic Relations Officer (PPRO) of command, after observing the exercise. "I have observed with keen interest, and have found open discrimination and denial of fundamental rights of my people."
